1. Abbey Road - The Beatles
The doyen of Beatles covers was not shot in Liverpool, but St Johns Wood London in London. It was taken in only 10 minutes in 1969 after the band abandoned their ideas of an image of the himalayas. The nearest tube is St Johns Wood or follow signs for Lords Cricket Ground.
2. Storm in Heaven - The Verve
The Verve's first studio album was released in 1993 and featured an album image shot in Thor's cave in Staffordshire. The cave is still used by climbers and prehsitoric human remains were found here in the 18th century.
3. What's the story (morning glory) - Oasis
The 3rd biggest selling in the UK of all time had it's photo taken in Berwick Street, London. This section of Soho contains some of the most famous independent record stores in the UK. The nearest underground stations are Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square.
