met leeds

hi i think my dad deserves a break because he works 6am to 6pm then comes home and works in the house renovating and if someone asks him to help them he drops what he is doing at home and goes to help them. he really does'nt get time to relax, but still finds time to help me with homework etc. he really needs chill time.

My Dad deserves this prixe as he is just the best! He is the silliest dad ever, always good fun but there for me if I ever need him. He would really appreciate a nice break with my mum!

Amanda

My Dad could do with some major refurbishment and investment just like the Met!!!!!!!!

Kit

I'm on Oz, Dad's in UK - poor love, he deserves something nice...The Met - what a great idea

My dad deserves to win this break as he works so hard. Also he has been through alot all his life and worked for those in need and he and my mum set up their own charity that is still running today which has been rewarding through helping people but very difficult at times for them. I feel he deserves this as he does so much for others its time he had some time and something nice for himself.

PENNY TO-BAKER

I would like to win this prize at the "Met Leeds" for my husband...father of 3 children who are so busy nowadays they'll probably forget the special day on Sunday....we will wait for the card, still plenty of time to get one!!! He has worked so hard this year and as he retires in November it would would be nice for him to just to relax and be pampered ready for the big day.
Thank you

I really think my Dad deserves a break as he is stressed out trying to run a business working long hours to keep it afloat in addition to a divorce due to a very unhappy relationship made even worse because he lost his wife a number of years ago - Not a great time which he is trying to get through!!

This would be great for my Dad, not only has he been through the trauma, cost and worry of raising me - I'm now 30, he's now doing it al over again with my 3 year old half sister. Anyone crazy enough to do that needs a mental health break and some time to chill out at The Met. He's such a great Dad that I'll even look after my half sister if he wins so he can go!!

My Dad is 88yrs old and was born in Leeds and now lives in South Manchester.
As a boy, and after finishing school, he would run up York road with a jug of tea which my Grandmother had made and he took it to his Father who worked in the Leeds slaughterhouse.
My Father had three sisters and two brothers all but one have now passed away. My Dad is a true hero who fought bravely in the 2nd World War leaving as a Regimental Sargeant Major with an exemplary record.

Dad is fascinating to listen to and is very active, he is an excellent driver and great fun.

Dad has survived Cancer of the colon a skin tumor and has a metal knee fitted, He is incredibily fit and we are so proud and honoured to have him for a Father. I'm sure he would be honoured and thrilled to be able to visit our remaining relatives and be pampered in the town of his birth.
