Now, I know this is probably wrong, but I've worked HARD all day, I've sent a gazillian emails and I can't even remember how long ago it was that I had my two hour lunch break in the pub over a humumgous cheese and bacon sandwich. (sigh) It's a toughie,... beating those mid-week blues. But hell, everyone knows that Wednesday is almost Thursday, and Thursday's the new Fri
day, so if Saturday is as hungover as Monday after a night out on Sunday, then IT'S ALL SCREWED UP and we may as well start now, right??
Right. which is why, in spite of my minor reservations, I may just take the advice of a switched on alcoholic.. er... colleague, and head to what is essentially a student nig ht, at the Moonlighting nightclub. There's a glorious rumour circulating that it's only 70p for a spirit and mixer and that some beers are a quid. ONE ENGLISH POUND!! Could it be?
We're off to find out. Well, it's all in the name of 'weekend' research. Me and my raging skull will catch you on the flip side...
That whole soho square area is great for a wednesday night, Metros, Borderline and Hombre's all do cheap drinks deals at about £1 for a spririt and mixer so if your interested check out some of the reviews at:
